About Us
We are a husband wife team with a passion for home projects. Our educational, professional, and personal experiences inspired us to begin this journey. We want to make your home your happy place.
Our careers have given us the incredible opportunities to live in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona, but we have found ourselves wanting to run our business in our home state of Ohio.
In Utah we started a side business converting sprinter vans. After doing two of our own and assisting clients in parts of their builds we wanted to take on flipping a house. We flipped our personal home in Arizona while we lived in it and assisted friends with home projects of their own. We wanted this work to be full time jobs for us. Now we’re here, with McCoy General Contracting LLC!

About Helen Wittman / Co-Owner - Communications & Marketing
I graduated from Ohio State in 2019 with a degree in Business Management. My professional career has given me opportunities in Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Customer Experience & Communication Management.
I am skilled and passionate in working with people. Your satisfaction, happiness, and understanding of our work and processes are my main priorities. Any inquiries, questions, concerns, complaints, desire to share your positive experience with us - I’m your person!
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, staying active, and all things food!
About Ian McCoy/ Co-Owner - Operations & Craftsman
I have had a passion for construction from when I was a young kid completing projects at Home Depot. I graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation I became an inspector in the commercial space. Throughout that time I gained extensive hands-on knowledge on the construction process in addition to taking on home projects on the side.
I thoroughly enjoy providing my customers with the best craftsmanship and innovation. It is my mission to exceed your expectations with the final product we present.
Outside of construction I enjoy mountain biking, working out, spending time with family, bourbon, and finding new things to cook on my smoker.
